A similar build with massive focus on conditions (damage and length.)

Jet boots for the stun break and dps classes seem to hate this ability.

WvWvW PvP build.

Now that I have played an engineer to 64 I would recommend this build for WvWvW. 

I use Grenades for damage, Elixir Gun for condition removal support, and Jet Boots for escape.

Surf the ZERG for best results.

Not a 1v1 spec at all.

Mobile Grenadier

Stack Precision, Power, Crit Damage and Toughness in roughly that order.

 

This build uses the Grenade kit for long range aoe damage from the back line, and Pistol/Shield for personal defense. A Rifle could be used instead for more damage, but then damage is what the grenade kit is for. Pistol offers a Blind, while Shield grants 3s of Reflect, and 2 seconds of Block. The Reflect can instead be used as a Knockback.

 

-Med Kit gives a decent heal skill on your Toolbelt, and can be switched to for a few more heals and a condition removal.

-Elixir C gives a multile condition removal on self, and an aoe condition removal on your Toolbelt.

-Elixir S breaks stuns and provides 3 seconds on invincibility, and on Toolbelt gives you either Stability (CC immunity) or Stealth in an aoe.

-Superior Sigil of Purity means you will frequently remove conditions from yourself while you're attacking.

So you have multiple heals, multiple methods of removing conditions , and multiple ohcrap buttons in addition to the Shield abilities.

 

-Sigil of Superior Earth: 60% chance to inflict Bleeding on critical hit

-Sharpshooter: 30% chance to inflict Bleeding on critical hit

So in addition to the Pistol autoattack causing Bleeds, your crits have a high chance of stacking them too. This build doesnt focus on condition damage, but Bleeds still provide a welcome boost to DPS even without that investment.

 

-Infused Precision: 50% chance to gain Swiftness (increased movement speed) on critical hit, 5s duration 5s cooldown

-Invigorating Speed: Gain Vigor (increased Endurance regen) whenever you gain Swiftness, 5s duration 5s cooldown

-Protection Injection: Gain Protection (20% damage reduction) whenever you are Disabled, 3s duration 5s cooldown

-Cloaking Device: Become Invisible whenever you are Immobilised

Your crits make you move faster and allows you to Dodge attacks more often. This significantly increases survivability, and also helps in chasing enemies down. When the enemy uses a Disable or Immobilise to prevent your running and dodging, you gain Protection and Stealth respectively to help you out.

 

-Evasive Powder Keg: creates a bomb on Dodge (only when in combat)

-Empowering Adrenaline: +5% damage when Endurance is NOT full (ie you've been Dodging)

-Explosive Powder: +10% explosion damage

-Steel-Packed Powder: explosions cause Vulnerability (target takes increased damage)

Remember above where your crits give you Swiftness, which gives you Vigor, which allows you to Dodge a lot and thereby avoid more damage? Well those Dodges also increase your damage and creates a bomb which itself damages nearby enemies and makes them take more damage.
