I love fields on ruin because it's like the old charr lands from EotN in gw1. Adding sweet FX finishes the job and makes the nostalgia mindblowing. Now if only the crafting merchants worked in Ebonhawk..

If you're out for some fast dungeon runs whether its for some cash or you just hate spending more than 45 minutes doing something, here's a few fast/easy paths throughout the dungeons i know of. If anyone knows others, please add them.
I won't make them detailed or anything, if you'd like to know more just let me know.

Cathedral of Flames Path 1 & 2.

Path 1 contains a lot of skippable content (run straight over bridge) and content that can be narrowed down (Just kill acolytes, just kite mobs until acolyte respawn).
Path 2 is much the same, not exactly skippable content but with a bit of organisation a lot of the events can be handly easily (Chain-kiting mobs until door gets opened, position to pick up bombs before starting timer)

Honour of the Waves Path 1.
This path contains no complex boss fights, and the final boss can be killed easily using a specific method.
Ther're a lobby before the final boss room, if you stack up on a bit of plank coming out of the wall to the right of the room, one person pulls the boss into the lobby and underneath the stacked party, from there he can only do small AoE damage while you just wail on him.

Ascalonian Catacombs Path 1.
This path has a few annoyances, but with a competant party it can be done easily.
Skip the lieutenant. Bring lots of stability for versing Stalkers. Final boss is tank/spank.

So I've been talking about this for about a week and Mccullin got it and loves it as well. What this does is replaces GW2's d3d.dll with a custom one that allows you to modify things like AA, sharpness, color changes and a bunch of other nice tweaks. So far for my tests, it has absolutely no impact on performance.

Installation:
simply put all the files in the 7z into your GW2 folder and that's it. In game, you have to disable the AA if you have it on and nothing else needs to be done.

Files:
http://www.bloodwrath.pcriot.c.....tFX_1_3.7z (that's the addon)

Here is a split screen of it in effect, you can see the difference in the distance at the top of the pic

Hey guys just wanted to make a post about a few things now that we seem to be in the RvR lakes most nights now.

On a good night we seem to run with 5, 8 or 10+ people which is awesome fun(it's always a good signt o see the whole guild roster be located in 'World v World'), because that means we can start taking towers.
I usually use Superior Flame Rams because of the massive damage output is better than two normal rams combined, but they take a bit to forge and I'm struggling to accrue enough skill points to meet our demand. I often find myself holding off towers a lot of night in order to save them up for out main sessions (Tues/Sat).

I know Deny has been helping me out with this, but if people were willing to forge some superior rams together so we don't have to go without. (Any upgraded prints really, but Rams are the most in demand.

The mystic forge recipe is:

5 Mithril ore + 5 Elder Wood Logs + 2 Blueprints(Rams) + 1 Siege Masters Guide = 1 Superior Ram Blueprint

The siege guide can be purchased from the Mystic Forge Attendant for 1 skill point.

Blueprints and Siege Guides are Soulbound.

While i'm making a post concerning siege prints- Please, Please, Please always carry 10+ supply on you when we're out in the lakes. There has been countless times we've missed out on towers because we've fallen short by 10 or 20 supply and the second ram has failed to be built and the enemy has had enough time to come and counter us. I know a lot of the time that 5th or 10th person is a pug that let us down, but there has still been plenty of times it's been one of us.
It's just a bit annoying seeing prints go to waste when I'm having to ration them a lot of the time.

Deny has started to queue up a lot of Guild Siege Golems, so we should have some interesting nights ahead of us with our new toys

Ok folks, the weekly preset runs schedule will look like this:

Dungeon: Wednesday nights @ 7:30pm Australian Eastern Standard Time

Mini World VS World Stompage: Tuesday nights @ 6:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time

Massive World VS World Rampage: Saturday nights @ 7:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time

Just a quick note regarding the dungeon night, at the end of the run there will be a world vs world session for anyone interested in sticking around or joining up with the group/s at that time.

Also obviously we need a party of five to show up on Wednesday night to have one run occur, if we have more than five people keen that would be great. If we have enough to run two groups then we will do so, if not we will discuss options on the night regarding who will be running. If we have one person miss out one week they will be guaranteed a run the following week.

Obviously, everyone is welcome to organise and do their own events (be it dungeons or wvw etc etc) whenever they want, but we ask that during the times of these arranged events that you don't blatantly arrange a counter-event and that you show your support for the guild leadership team by participating in these arranged events, after all they are using their own time to ensure that everyone gets access to dungeon runs and the like.

If anyone is wondering why it's a good thing to be involved in these events, there are benefits for players doing dungeons such as tokens that you get from dungeons trade in for easily accessible exotic weapons and armour plus each dungeon should net you approximately 1 gold and 20 silver (plus drops) if you complete the three wings. The benefits of wvw include karma farming, good amounts of coin, item drops, rofl stomping our enemies and heaps of fun in teamspeak with your guildies.

Finally, the guild leadership team hopes that this helps some of the newer members feel at home and truly a part of Bloodwrath. Ideally we would love to be running 3 or 4 dungeon groups concurrently on Wednesday nights so the more that show up, the better:-)

-TEAMSPEAK IS MANDATORY - speakers are a minimum requirement, microphone is optional-

thanks for the update/information yogi:-) i personally would prefer saturday night for wvwvw as i generally don't get on until after midnight on friday night and then i log off at about 3am (if i make it that far)...on saturday i am able to get on earlier and finish just as late so i would then be able to both play in wvwvw for longer and play with more of our group as opposed to the 2 or three blokes that are left on at the later hours.

alternatively, yogi was saying to me last night that he would be interested in running the wvwvw session of a weeknight (as long as it doesn't conflict with the dungeon night which at this stage is looking to be wednesday night at 7:30am aest as no one has posted their preferred times/days and timezones...

perhaps because of the scale of wvwvw we could run a "mega-wvwvw" event on saturday nights as a weekend rumble kind of thing and then have a "mini-wvwvw" night midweek (like tuesday night?) as a small romp-a-stomp...

if we don't get repsonses from anyone by friday night (26th october 2012) then yogi and i will work it all out between us two and let you all know what we have settled on.

Yoghourty Bear is looking to set aside one night a week (Looking to be either friday or saturday nights)

Recently our guild has started to gather an interest in World v World PvP. This has varied from two or three people to our largest groups consisting of about 12 people.
I've lead our party of 5 to take a supply camp and subsequently hold it for a long time against anywhere beyond double our numbers. It feels awesome and I'd like you all to experience it as well.

This night will be similiar to Cool Magool's dungeon runs and as such I will wait to see what night it lays on. To help with this, there is currently a poll running on both this forums front page and on our facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/groups.....793487072/).

These two nights are in place to help those who lead very structured lifestyle and need to plan out any long stretch of gaming such as Dungeons or PvP. This is also hopefully allow newer members of the guild to become aware of some of our group activities and help them get involved.
